Provides personalized assistance to individuals with disabilities, helping them live as independently as possible in their own homes and communities.

Independent Living Services (ILS)

Focuses on teaching and developing the skills individuals need to become more independent. ILS may include training in budgeting, cooking, household management, transportation, community access, personal care, and other daily living skills.

The Difference: ILS is primarily skill-building and training for greater independence, while SLS provides ongoing support to help individuals successfully live in and maintain their own home.
